Founded by Professor Martin T. Buell in Hawaii, Universal Kempo Karate traces its history back through Kempo, Kajukenbo, and Kung Fu all the way to Shaolin Temple in China.  With an eclectic mix of striking, kicking, grappling, joint-locks and weapons, it presents a well-rounded system of self-defense.
